Jacksonville FL — Additional testing sites in Jacksonville could be up and running by next week at the earliest.
On Monday we reported when the city announced they were bringing 6 additional testing sites to different neighborhoods across the city. The sites will be in Mandarin, the westside, the northside, Arlington, and at the beaches.
During a city council meeting on Wednesday, the mayor’s Chief Administrative Officer Brian Hughes said the city hopes to have the locations at the beaches and in Arlington ready by the end of this week, so testing can start by next week.
He also said the city is aiming to get at least another site identified by the end of the week which would then available for testing next week.
The additional testing sites will be in addition to the sites that are already in use.
