JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
UPDATE | 6:13 A.M.:
A 48-year-old driver is in critical condition, while the 46-year-old female passenger is suffering serious injures, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash report shows their blue Yamaha motorcycle was traveling north on I-95 when the driver lost control. They were thrown over the concrete barrier wall and landed 30-feet below onto a separate entrance/exit ramp.
Their names have not been released, but it reports state they are both from Indiana.
UPDATE | 10:55 P.M.:
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department Capt. Eric Prosswimmer said “two people on a motorcycle failed to negotiate the turn and went over the wall and had a substantial fall.”
Both riders are in serious condition, he said.
ORIGINAL STORY:
There is a crash involving a fall on the Acosta Bridge, Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said.
According to JFRD, two people were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The off-ramp left lanes on I-95 North, before the Acosta/Main St. Bridge are blocked, as of 10:45 p.m.
