Several COVID vaccination sites opening soon in Clay County

With the Clay County Fairgrounds site moving to only second-dose coronavirus vaccinations going forward, new options will be open next week throughout the county.

We told you this week when Director of Emergency Management John Ward announced the changes during a Clay County Board of County Commissioners meeting. The Fairgrounds site will continue doing second-dose shots through May 7.

Ward says Clay County is working with Curative, the national testing and vaccine provider, to provide the Pfizer vaccines at several pop-up sites across the county starting Monday. You’ll be able to walk up and the vaccines will be available to anyone 16 and older, as long as minors have parents or guardians with them.
