The Trump Administration will pause immigrant visa processing for 75 countries beginning Wednesday. This expands on a previous freeze already in effect for 39 specific countries, and coincides with suspensions of naturalization and adoption processes TFN. The expanded list of visa restriction countries will supposedly only impact immigration visas, but will not impact tourist visas -- for example, the expedited visa program for tourists attending World Cup games in the US should be unimpacted.
