Brian Middleton

Originally from Charleston, SC, Brian Middleton was born into a military family, moving to various cities throughout the Southeast while growing up. He attended Georgia Southern University two times over earning a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism, and a Master’s in Business Administration. Currently, Brian works as the Afternoon Traffic Anchor/Board Operator. Middleton also works on ESPN 690 from Monday through Friday co-hosting Action Sports Jax Overtime. He previously spent time working at sister station WAPE. In his free time, Brian closely follows sports. NFL, NBA and College Football are Brian’s favorites, but if there are people competing, he’s watching. Music and the gym are passions as well. As a recipient of a life-saving heart transplant in 2018, Brian is also a big proponent of Organ Donor sign-up drives and the American Heart Association. Because of his faith and as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, community outreach and being a service to others is part of his foundational focus.
