CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — A surprise winter storm in January is having impacts on local school calendars.
Schools in Clay County closed down briefly after ice and snow were forecasted in January. Now, the county has to make up for it.

The annual student and teacher holiday, Fair Day, will now be a regular school day.
The holiday is meant to give students the chance to go experience the Clay County Agricultural Fair, which runs April 3rd through April 13th.
That means everyone will be expected in classrooms on Friday, April 11th.
