CLAY COUNTY, Fla — Clay County is inviting residents to a community meeting in July to view the latest design plans for the proposed Oakleaf Library. The meeting will take place on July 16 at the Oakleaf Village Amenity Center at 6:00 p.m.

The county says the project team will share results from the community engagement process, highlight how public feedback helped shape the design, and present the latest proposed plans. Attendees will be able to view site plans as well as features planned for children, teens, adults, and community spaces.

“A library is more than a building, it’s a place where people are informed and gain new knowledge, connect with others to build a stronger community together, and are inspired while discovering new opportunities,” said Clay County Library Director Mary Canfield. “The ideas and priorities residents shared have shaped the proposed Oakleaf Library design, and we’re excited to share the vision for this future community space. We encourage everyone to attend, ask questions, and continue to be part of the conversation as we work toward creating a library that reflects the needs and interests of Oakleaf residents.”

The county adds that the meeting will include an overview of the project’s milestones and next steps of the proposed Oakleaf Library project.
