Heavy rain projected the rest of this week

Expect another afternoon with heavy thunderstorms.

WOKV's Chief Meteorologist Accuweather's Heather Zehr says it's going to feel a lot like Monday with isolated thunderstorms firing up during the late afternoon.

Excessive lightning and heavy rainfall will be the greatest threats.  We are still tracking a weak area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico that could bring heavy rain Thursday into Friday.
