May Pang, John Lennon’s former lover during the “Lost Weekend” from 1973 to 1975, will be showcasing never-before-seen photos of the late singer in an exhibit titled “The Lost Weekend: The Photography of May Pang”.
During the Lost Weekend, May had accompanied Lennon through his most commercially successful period post-Beatles, with the albums “Mind Games” and “Walls and Bridges”. May also helped Lennon reconnect with his son Julian Lennon as well as former Beatle Paul McCartney in 1974.
The gallery coincides with “The Lost Weekend - A Love Story”, a documentary that is now streaming on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, YouTube, and more.
The gallery will be at Gallery 725 and will be from Friday, January 17 through Sunday, January 19.
WOKV spoke with Pang about her upcoming exhibit, listen to it HERE.
