The Jaguars season is now over, and many fans are happy about that.

The team lost to the Colts in overtime Sunday. That leaves the Jags with a 4-13 record this season. However, 10 of those 13 losses were very close.
Now, all eyes turn to team owner, Shad Khan to see if he will make any changes. Khan has been silent for the last few months, giving almost no indication of what decisions he will make.
However, several fans told Action News Jax they are waiting for him to make changes.
“We need new leadership going forward.”
Many said they had high expectations from the beginning for this team. They thought the Jags would go to the playoffs- no doubt.
That was not the case.
“We will be fans forever. I will always feel confident, and I think they’re going to have a better season in 2025,” said Sarah Hickey, a longtime fan.
Fans in teal lit up the Strings Sports Brewery in Jax Beach to watch the final game on Sunday evening.
Loyal fan Ben McGuire said he stands by his team, but he is hoping for administrative changes. He hopes coach Doug Peterson and the general manager Trent Baalke get the boot.
“I would understand Doug Peterson stayed, I guess. But Trent Baakle has been here for too long to be getting these bad results,” said McGuire.
Mcguire adds he would like to see Ben Johnson become the newest head coach. He said the team needs a new face who could bring more culture to Jacksonville.
Another fan said she still believes the Jaguars are a strong team. She is more worried about the players, not the coaching staff.
“I think the offensive line needs at least one more key player. I think we need a better defense player in the front also. Overall, we have a lot of strong players and I’m looking forward to next year,” said Joanne Castellano.
Tomorrow is known as “Black Monday” in the NFL because so many teams fire their coaches the day after the season ends. One team already decided they were not waiting until Monday. The Patriots fired their head coach right after their final game.
